Anyway, lame jokes aside, I was asking my friends for advice on what safety razor and blades they use because I was considering upgrading for myself. It turns out that in Hong Kong, folks don’t use safety razors at all. I mean, my barber does use a straight razor, but the majority in Hong Kong either use an electric shaver or a cartridge razor but mostly, electric shaver.

What did I get then? I got on Reddit for advice and decided to try Edwin Jagger DE86 (same as DE89, just different handle material) and Astra green blades. The problem is, it’s close shave but not extremely close tho but that’s fine because that tiny little stubble gives me a rockstar look. As long as I don’t look like Bin Laden, I’m good, hah. And to be fair, stubble has became a fashion lately, isn’t it? Most male celebrities have them but regardless, I’ll try out Feather blades in the future as I hear they are sharper and will give closest shave.
