No matter in the context of politics or financial freedom, it always comes at a cost. This is one of those statements no one can disagree on.
Freedom isn’t something we’ve began fighting for recently, it’s something we’ve been doing since the beginning of civilizations. While the oldest record would obviously be hard to find due to you know, not documenting it. But the oldest freedom protest we know goes all the way back to year 1215. But you know what we’ve always had? Folks who go against freedom and want to be controlled. The oldest propaganda is older than 2500 year old and what were they aiming at? The goal was no different than from today. To shape the public opinion with disinformation.
The moment a government fears the movement of their own people, it has confessed to being a prison, not a nation. Any government that believes it can build a civilization with restrictions on movement is either high on cocaine or just plain retarded.
