Ali's Destiny

The story of the Iraqi little girl.

It’s been quite long since I’ve posted on my blog. The past few days if you’ve been catching up with the world events, you would know how much of a shit hole our world is turning into with many world leaders prioritizing economy for the rich class exclusively.

You see this innocent girl in the picture above? This story happened quite a while ago. She’s an Iraqi little girl (Abeer Qassim Hamza al-Janabi) who got gang raped by five US soldiers. After they were done raping her, they shot her in the head and set her body on fire while killing her whole family. Disgusting af, right? All because she’s from the middle east and somehow, her life mattered less. Nobody deserves to be raped, just because she was born somewhere else. And where exactly is the democracy in Iraq that the US decided to offer? The US has destabilized most of the middle eastern countries by choosing shitty presidents. A war will always cause a country to have a dysfunction government, which results in the rise of terrorism. You know why that’s the case? If I were the X government and killed your country’s economy, your loved ones and everything you had, would you not want to fight back me? Or would you be like “Oh, it’s okay. Let’s go to work and pay taxes to X now”? No, right? Nobody is that kind, man.

The US had slave supporters once in the past and many in the country thought black people were animals and had racial segregation (種族隔離) in the country. They even had completely free labor from poorly fed slaves to collect cotton for factories’ profit. How did this big problem get fixed? How did people slowly began having an open mind? Not by bombing the shit out of the US, but it was solved with education. Because education and slowly changing the leadership within are the only two realistic solutions.

But then it makes me question, why are middle eastern problems always solved with bombing the shit out of them when it never has worked? When we already know from history that people with loved ones killed will want to fight back?

Why I’m talking about this event is, right now Donald Trump (POTUS) is deciding whether or not the US should participate in Israel-Iran war. Invading, bombing and overthrowing Iranian government wouldn’t solve anything but cause more problems in long run, like we have seen in Iraq, Libya and so on. This would end up creating a new branch of “terrorist” group who would want to fight back the US because their loved ones got killed in the process of the US bringing “democracy” to Iran.

To be fair, I’m not an idiot. I know very well that the under root reason of POTUS supporting Israel might be because of AIPAC. I’m sure many of these politicians are sellout because there’s very little reason for the US to fight for Israel and put the lives of the American at risk.
