Alright. So, what’s the one thing anyone who cooks keep hearing from folks time to time? “Why not just eat out?” since cooking takes up so much time. I feel that many folks forget one other important feature of cooking, self-discipline.
In the end, our brain’s main function is to survive and the most important key to surviving is eating. This forces me to take care of myself and for those who lack self-discipline in life, just know that self-discipline requires training, not something you’re gonna achieve on day one, so start small.
Perhaps on day one, you could begin vacuuming your room everyday or just something small and then gradually progressing to whatever you desire.
And let’s not forget that cooking your own food means you can take your mind off things and control the ingredients, ensuring you get the right amount of protein, carbs, iron, and so on. So far, cooking, drawing and riding my motorcycle has been my way to get off stress.
